Yep, you know it was going to happen. SO many folks don’t have their gifts finished yet, OR are trying to do it on a budget, and SO I decided to be pretty helpful and give you MORE ideas than I did last week when I posted on 100+ Simply Delightful Christmas Ideas.
We all go through this, at one point in our lives or another. My children are getting very simple gifts from us this year, and I know they will love it. Want to know what they are?
My Big Kid is getting a room redecorated, homemade gift items, and pampering gift items, most made by me (and somehow I have to make sure she does not read this article).
My Littles are getting handmade blankets and slippers, aprons from a wonderful friend (thanks Beth), homemade play dough, water colors and crayons, coloring books, and toys, made by my husband and I.
I think this is the least we have ever spent on Christmas, and yet, my kids are ALL going to be thrilled.
So yes, you can do it. You have time. Just over a week. Forget about a glut of presents. Forget about rushing out and purchasing the first thing your eyes fall on simply because you need to give something. Think of one thing the person will love, and go for it. See what you have around home to make things with. Google it, find a tutorial, and get started.
This post is in error in one way. There are way WAY more gift ideas listed on here than 100 more. More like 200 more or 300 more. I organized them into categories for you, but seriously, browse through them, and find some fun ones. Most are pretty  simple, and should take you very little time. Some can be adapted for men, some grandparents ones can be changed for other family members. Just have fun looking.
And don’t forget, E-books are also a fabulous gift for people if they are starting out on a new hobby! I have one for bakers/crafters, one for someone who wants to learn how to garden and grow herbs to heal family, and one for someone who is interested in learning how to water bath can! I even have a short one with recipes for making your own pampering gifts using herbs, and that one is very inexpensive! Purchase the PDF’s and wrap them up with some simple tools to help the person take off in their new hobby, and you have a winning gift right there.
For the rest of you lovely folks who already have them, I hope you find more gifts listed here to help you in your last -minute Christmas Quest.
Blessings to you and yours and a  Merry Christmas,Â
~Heather
