Happy Fabulously Frugal Friday Morning to you!
I was surprised when I looked at my posts so far this month and realized that I have not ONCE written about things you can, and should be making yourself as you attempt to save a little money on household cleaners and items! It takes some really good recipes and just a little work, and you will be amazed at how quickly you can start saving money on cleaning products!
So here is my list, complete with (in my opinion) the best links to follow on making your own Household Products!
I hope you enjoy them, and please, if you have a favorite link for one of these, please add it into the comments! I will be updating my laundry detergent and hand soap posts later this week for you! 🙂
Blessings to you and yours,
~Heather
Make your Own Laundry Detergent
Make Your own Hand Soap (and have it last 3x as long!)
Make Your Own Basic All-Purpose Cleaner
Make Your own Toilet Bowl Cleaner
1/2 cup baking soda or borax to 1/4 cup lemon juice works awesome. Put it in, let it sit, then scrub and swish! Fresh and super squeaky clean! Even dissolves lime deposits over time! 🙂
This recipe is a brand new one from The Prairie Homestead, and I had a blast trying it out! She has really nailed it, and I am looking forward to using my own essential oils and homemade soap to make my very own version in the near future!
